About the Finance Division
Finance is committed to providing professional services and resources to assist the University and to being the trusted advisor for decision-makers throughout UNSW.
The Finance team supports administrative staff, managers and researchers in monitoring, controlling and managing the University's financial resources efficiently.
Finance provides financial support and acts as a resource to help faculties and divisions manage their different activities.
The role of Finance is to support the University to achieve its aims of excellence in research, scholarship, learning and the student experience.
This is achieved through accurate financial and management reporting and through a robust budget process as well as the efficient processing of thousands of transactions throughout the University.
The aim of Finance is to be responsive, helpful and customer friendly while providing support through simple, streamlined finance systems and processes.
