Risk Program
The University of New South Wales vision is to be Australia's leading international research university with a reputation for excellence in scholarship, learning, and the student experience. That vision is enabled by UNSW strategic priorities and goals within the areas of research, international services, learning and teaching, and community outreach and development.
The University believes that the effective management of risk safeguards the achievement of these strategic priorities and goals and, thereby, the University vision. The Risk Management Unit has the responsibility to develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management programs to ensure risks are managed to an extent where opportunities can be realised to achieve our strategic goals and objectives.
The UNSW approach to the organisation-wide management of risk consists of a set of policies, processes, procedures, structures and risk financing programs which are integrated in to the planning and operational functions of the University.
