This policy will be renewed at the end of October, therefore our insurer is unable to issue any documents past 31 October. Please email Azita Karpour at firstname.lastname@example.org after 31 October if you require updated documentation.
NB: Any knowledge of an event which may give rise to a claim should be reported immediately to the Insurance Team. Failure to do so may limit or negate the insurance protection available to the University.
- Who/What is covered?
The University’s Marine Transit policy provides insurance for all goods for which UNSW is responsible which are shipped or transported, either within Australia or overseas. The coverage provided extends to a wide variety of goods, whether carried by ship, aircraft or truck.
- Level of Cover
All shipments less than $200,000 in value are automatically insured. If the value of a shipment exceeds $200,000, then special arrangements may need to be made with the Insurer. All shipments must be reported to Insurance by completing the spreadsheet below at least 14 days before shipment.
