Chatbot launch- February 2020
Procurement are keen to announce that launching in February 2020 on our website will be our very own CHATBOT.
Chatbot is an artificial intelligence (AI) software, that appears in the form a AI icon. It is displayed on pages of a website and can simulate a conversation (or a chat) with the user in natural language to advise on a number of topics and specifics relating to a particular subject matter. The procurement Chatbot will be able to advise on a number of procurement outputs and aims to inform and educate customers.
Customers will no longer have to navigate through website pages for simple questions and answers, and our Q&A page will look very different over the next few months.
The most exciting aspect is that the Chatbot will save a log of all questions that the Chatbot may not have a direct answer for. Each month, the procurement team will update the knowledge bank with these great questions and ensure that in the future if asked again, a clear answer is provided.
We look forward to providing an update and some further communication closer to the launch. We will be encouraging feedback during the launch period with our customers needs at the forefront of the Chatbot experience.
